P 1    Alright runners, get ready!
.      To help you prepare, we are holding
.      a time of fellowship and encouragement
.      after each Sunday service.
.      And, get set!  With a word of prayer-

(CHURCH MEMBERS line up, ready to run, and wait.
CHURCH MEMBER 1 looks up at PASTOR 1.)

C.M.1  Ah, I don’t think I’m encouraged enough.

P 1    Aaaand – get ready.

(CHURCH MEMBERS go back to stretching, etc.)

P 1    Let us attend a Bible study
.      at least once - or twice - a week
.      in order to fully equip ourselves.
.      And get set- with a word of prayer-

(CHURCH MEMBERS line up, ready to run, and wait.
CHURCH MEMBER 2 looks up.)

C.M.2  So, I’m pretty sure I KNOW what to do,
.      but-

P 1    Aaaannnd – get ready.

(CHURCH MEMBERS go back to stretching, etc.)
.                                                       2
P 1    We really challenge you to
.      dig deeper into the Word of God
.      with personal devotions and more
.      personal time of prayer and meditation,
.      so that you can KNOW and be confident.
.      Aaaand, get set-

(CHURCH MEMBERS line up, ready to run, and wait.
CHURCH MEMBER 3 looks up.)

C.M.3  I sure hope I don’t make a mess of things.
.      This is kind of scary, you know.

P 1    Aaand-

(PASTOR 2 walks out.)

P 2    Go!

(CHURCH MEMBERS randomly pop up and kind of jog in place,
or spin in a circle, unsure of what to do exactly.
PASTOR 2 points in the direction they should run –
to the exit.)

P 2    Just go – already.  Run.  You’ve been prepared,
.      and you are set.  You need to go.

(CHURCH MEMBERS slowly realize they can run and go for
the exit.  PASTOR 2 looks at the bewildered PASTOR 1.)

P 2    Us, too.  Come on, let’s go.

(PASTOR 2 starts to jog in place and wave for PASTOR 1
to follow.  PASTOR 2 doesn’t go too far ahead until
he is confident that PASTOR 1 is right behind him.)
