SCRIPT:

(ALL ACTORS are on stage creating a giant tableau
of various social interactions – frozen in action.  
You can arrange according to which “settings” you chose.
After the NARRATOR reads a scripture, the CHRISTIAN from
the next setting steps forward to the microphone, while
other ACTORS from that particular setting follow behind,
then exit together as the next “setting” steps forward.
The other ACTORS represent nonbelievers, but have them
interested/curious about what the CHRISTIAN has to say.)

NARRATOR   As Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20,
.          “All authority has been given to Me
.          in heaven and on earth.
.          Go therefore and make disciples
.          of all the nations,
.          baptizing them in the name of the Father
.          and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
.          teaching them to observe
.          all that I commanded you;
.          and lo, I am with you always,
.          even to the end of the age.”

(SETTING #1:  CHRISTIAN 1 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she has been speaking to a few people
dressed in something from a very different culture
in a remote area of the world.)

CH.  1     I have been sent as a missionary
.          to a remote corner of the world,
.          to bring the gospel to a people
.          who have never heard the word of God.

NARRATOR   As Jesus said in Mark 16:15,
.          “Go into all the world
.          and preach the gospel to all creation.”

(SETTING #2:  CHRISTIAN 2 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she has been playing basketball with someone.)

CH.  2     I have been sent to organize games
.          at a local outreach program
.          for underprivileged youth.

NARRATOR   As Jesus said in Luke 24:48,
.          “You are witnesses of these things.”

(SETTING #3:  CHRISTIAN 3 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she is reading the Bible to a few young people.)

CH.  3     I have been sent to lead a Bible Study
.          in our church.

NARRATOR   As Jesus said in John 20:21,
.          “...Peace to you!
.          As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

(SETTING #4:  CHRISTIAN 4 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she is talking with a hospital patient.)

CH.  4     I have been sent to visit people
.          in hospitals and nursing homes.

NARRATOR   As Jesus said in Acts 1:8,
.          “you will receive power
.          when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
.          and you shall be My witnesses both
.          in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
.          and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

(SETTING #5:  CHRISTIAN 5 has been frozen in a scene
where a few men are gathered holding shovels.)

CH.  5     I have been sent to African towns
.          to help dig wells for fresh water supplies.

NARRATOR   As Peter instructed in Acts 2:38,
.          “Repent, and each of you be baptized
.          in the name of Jesus Christ
.          for the forgiveness of your sins;
.          and you will receive
.          the gift of the Holy Spirit.

(SETTING #6:  CHRISTIAN 6 has been frozen in a scene
where she is cuddling a “baby.”)

CH.  6     Besides serving in my church,
.          I have been sent as a mother
.          to raise my children in God’s will.

NARRATOR   Ephesians 3:11-12,
.          “This was in accordance with
.          the eternal purpose which He carried out
.          in Christ Jesus our Lord,
.          in whom we have boldness and confident access
.          through faith in Him.

(SETTING #7:  CHRISTIAN 7 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she is helping a convicted felon to write.)

CH.  7     I have been sent to help educate
.          convicted felons so they can find success
.          after they have been released from prison.

NARRATOR   2 Corinthians 3:4-5,
.          “Such confidence we have
.          through Christ toward God.
.          Not that we are adequate in ourselves
.          to consider anything
.          as coming from ourselves,
.          but our adequacy is from God.”

(SETTING #8:  CHRISTIAN 8 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she is dressed as a police officer and
is taking down a report from a disheveled upset woman.)

CH.  8     I have been sent as a police officer        4
.          to help enforce the law and protect
.          the citizens of our country.

NARRATOR   1 Peter 3:15,
.          “-sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts,
.          always being ready to make a defense
.          to everyone who asks you to give an account
.          for the hope that is in you,
.          yet with gentleness and reverence...”

(SETTING #9:  CHRISTIAN 9 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she holds a briefcase while shaking hands
with another business person.)

CH.  9     I have been sent into the workforce
.          to manage a company and treat all employees
.          and clients with dignity and professionalism.

NARRATOR   1 Timothy 6:18,
.          “Instruct them to do good,
.          to be rich in good works,
.          to be generous and ready to share.”

(SETTING #10:  CHRISTIAN 10 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she holds a wrench while handing a set of
car keys to a customer.)

CH. 10     I have been sent as a mechanic to help out
.          customers with excellence and integrity.

NARRATOR   2 Timothy 4:2,
.          “Preach the word; be ready
.          in season and out of season;
.          reprove, rebuke, exhort,
.          with great patience and instruction.”

(SETTING #11:  CHRISTIAN 11 has been frozen in a scene
where he/she consults with a patient.)

CH. 11     I have been sent as a doctor to see to
.          the health and wellbeing of every patient.

NARRATOR   2 Timothy 4:5,
.          “-be sober in all things, endure hardship,
.          do the work of an evangelist,
.          fulfill your ministry.”

where he/she hangs out with a bunch of students.)

CH. 12     I have been sent as a student.

NARRATOR   Galatians 2:20,
.          “I have been crucified with Christ;

.          but Christ lives in me;
.          and the life which I now live in the flesh
.          I live by faith in the Son of God,
.          who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

NARRATOR   Romans 12:1,
